Political Rap-Battle-Song im Dialog: I’m Not Racist

Ich bin ja kein Nazi, aber... der Song von Joyner Lucas ist vermutlich der beste und durchdachteste Raptrack, den ich dieses Jahr gehört habe. Ein politischer Dialog und absoluter Abriss über ein zwiegespaltenes Amerika, das auf diesem unfassbar fetten Beat das tut, was es vielleicht mehr tun sollte. Sich gegenseitig zuhören, die Perspektive wechseln und aufeinander zugehen. Mit hart gespitteten Lines - in einem Battle ohne Gewalt.
Und am Ende gibt es dann trotz des verbalisierten Hasses in Reimform einfach mal eine dicke Umarmung als Message (Hug Life). Hip-Hop - One Love.
